It's almost 2008... How exciting!

Wonder what you guys on GWG are up to ^^;

Me and the boyfriend are planning to meet up with his bestfriend&wife to go to some club(?) or something.. for the big`ol countdown. ^^;
Gonna be some drinkin` going on.. Lmao..

The BF suggested we get a LIMO to go to the club.. then take it back home.. so we have a "designated" driver.. hahaha.. he's so cute. :P

Anyways.. ^^; What is everyone elses plans?

Unless friends have plans for Monday night I'll be watching tv and sitting on my computer like I normally do. Maybe I'll watch a movie or something... No money to go out to the bars and no one to really go with either.

I'm going with my mom and sis to some REALLY expensive chinese restaurant (it's 20 dollars for rice o.0). after that we going to the store to get ice cream. we going to go home make ice cream watch a movie. then for the last 2 hours, we just going to wait.

Sleeping, new years is just another day.

And really, I hate drinking despite that I'm of age; Because all it accomplishes is about 3 things: 1)You make yourself look like a complete ass. 2)You forget it the next day anyways, so any ''fun'' you had is dis-regarded. And last but not least, you feel like crap in the morning, /clap.. constructive. Course all that varies on how much you drink, but it's still a good point. Besides, the last time I got wasted on rum made me puke from then on at the smell of alcohol, just don't have it in me now..

Me and my two brothers work at a firework store every year, huge discount on the collection, so we we have about 4000 euros worth of fireworks.

We have a huge group of people coming, lots of drinking, laughing etc.

New years eve is the best partynight ever!

You're like me then. I'll drink, I just refuse to get so hammered that stupid things happen. Last time I got completly smashed I ended up passed out in a nightclub toliet, face down with a broken nose.

I'll have a few friends over maybe, but thats about it.

Lol. Only thing I drink are fruity things.. and only 1 of those. And I don't usually finish that 1 either.. boyfriend tends to drink the rest.. I get tired of it.. Haha..

In Scotland it's complulsory to get wasted on Hogmany (New Year's eve) and watch Chewin' the Fat. Then Jackie Bird tells a fat bloke in a kilt to shoot a cannon on top of Edinburgh Castle.

Then we get more wasted.

If you visit someone's home on New Years Day it's tradition to give them a 'first foot' which is a gift (not a kick in the teeth.) Usually a calendar or something pointless.
